Hailing from Orange County, California, Edwin is the most experienced agent within our sales force. Self-made and self-taught, he’s been working in Local Marketing for more than 15 years. Edwin sold his first store locator solution when he was 18 years old to TGI Friday’s.
Edwin has worked in tech selling local search solutions since the industry’s very beginnings, past the tech burst of the early 2000’s and building connections and relationships that brought him all the way to the doors of SweetIQ. In charge of our Enterprise Sales, Edwin’s experience has been invaluable for the growth of the company, which saw an expansion of 400% in just the last year. A seasoned salesperson with the knowledge of a sharp Local Marketer, he sets the pace of his team while consistently building bridges for SweetIQ to cross.
Edwin sees Local Marketing evolving into a more perfected attribution funnel. Brands will be able to see potential customers running local searches, tracking the journey of those customers to the store, know what they bought, whether they are first time or returning customers, if they enjoyed their experience or not, and how much money they spent. As we close that gap between local search and offline actions, the industry will move past local listings and focus on tailoring the customer’s experience, making it more seamless and targeted.
